These socks are a little shorter than show stock photos. I am 5 ' 4 "and I have hit about 5 inches above the knee. very nice design of fabric and a jagged range that hits right on/below the knee, which to me means there is a WAD of tissue amassed when the legs are bent. I bought the black ones and I like a lot. not like how my socks of wool hiking, but they are thicker than normal knee socks are very soft and are hot. Winter is not here yet, so I'm not able to test it in icy weather still. wear a size 9 shoe and foot length on these socks is perfect. they are quite resilient so one size really can fit many. I really like that cover a large part of my leg. I could potentially wear them as leggings under the right skirt, but I really see the heat under your pants!
